Patong beach is one of the most famous part and destination of Phuket in Thailand.

A peaceful weekend in Sempu Island

Sempu is a small island located in Indonesia, west part of Java. One of the most famous travel destination of Indonesia.

The easiest way to get there is to fly from Jakarta to Malang, then rent a car with driver and head south for roughly 60km - 2 hours. Along the ride you'll get to see the beautiful tropical verdure of Java Island with its coconut trees and banana plantations.

Sempu Island's location remains far from the main indonesian sights. However this hidden paradise deserves a quick budget visit ! Not large at all, a day or two would be enough to discover this quiet place.

Getaway to Ho Chi Minh City

Located of the South of the country, Ho Chi Minh is a major city and travel destination of Vietnam, it was the witness of the Vietnam War.

The city is also called "Saigon" referring to the Saigon River that runs through the city. The city was named "Ho Chi Minh" in 1976 after the Fall of Saigon, as a tribute for the leader of the independence movement.

Despite Ho Chi Minh is not a capital, it is the most populated city of the country and also the most important economic center, that's why Ho Chi Minh is a city that never sleeps.

There is 10 million of people living in the city, and almost 2 million who owned a motorbike. It is so impressive to see all motorbikes waiting at the red light to turn green. 1,2,3,4 to 5 people in the same vehicule, parents and childrens.

To visit the city, you can borrow a motorbike for the day or ask a motorbiker to drive - the cost is about 30 000VND (1,50 USD$). You will have always to negotiate the price, a usual thing in Asian countries.

During your scooter ride, you can visit the 2 main important monuments in Ho Chi Minh: Saigon Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel and the War Remnants Museum, where you can learn about the American phase of the war.
